Talking Color apps?

Having just recently acquired my Prism, I still lack of a lot of color apps.

So, would like to know, what apps do you guys use

Cheers
andre.

PS: Do pardon me if this sort of threads have been posted countless times...

I only have a Platinum, but I hear Bejewelled and Aldon's Crossing (both games) look really nice in colour.

I've also read that colour can be used to make Datebk4 even more appealing by colouring categories and adding icons to events.

I haven't succumbed to colour envy yet, but i'm starting to be tempted.

Hi imabug :P

Yeah, I have Bejewelled... looks great in color

I managed 100k on my Deluxe once... so I'm expecting much more on my Prism now...

I've heard of Aldon's Crossing, and it seems pretty good.

Nah. No thanks for Datebook4. I'm happy with Datebook 3+

Here's SilverScreen:

Cheers,
Andre.

bejeweled is great esp( when set to 65k color and not 256 colors.
silver is nice, like the interface but alwiz seems to crash my prism = ) anyone else facing dat prob? oh well perhaps its me hacks.
using megalauncher 3.2.2 looks great with color too.

I know Bejewled has been mentioned, but you may want to check out the site that offers this game at www.astraware.com
They have a lot of games that offer amazing color.

Thanks,
"J"

color apps

Some of the best color apps are astronomy apps. I've got Planetarium, 2Sky and Lunar and they are all striking in color. Silver Screen also is nice.

Talking Apps

I've just upgraded -- mainly because I had several apps that worked with color even though my Platinum didn't

Wordsmith
Action Names (You have to dump old Icons for new color ones -- I love this program's color-coded view of the contact list as well as events on the calendar)
SplashId (Again - color icons and depiction)
ThinkdB -- New aspect to my db design...
Handspring Photo Album (For all my handcam pictures...)
To some extent my MemPlug shows certain icons in color
Mobipocket - what colors are best for your eyes?
Avantgo - some colorization of logos and banners - still have yet to see
Silver Screen - I've had problems getting it to be stable which MAY or MAY NOT be related to its Launcher features being somewhat incompatible with the Memplug Launcher features...

PalmReader Pro - upgraded from the public domain one but works like above
I've picked up Bump Attack from Iambic --- good if you like pinball. I already had the Astraware 5-pack...

I just wished the battery lasted longer.

I finally bought a new Prism a few days ago. Here are 2 new-to-me apps that I can't live without:

Maximus 3.01 - a freeware "datebook" app. (After trying this app, I'll never use DateBook+ again!)

Pinballz - an excellent shareware pinball game.

Both of these apps are as much fun to look at as they are to use.

Khroma. It allows you to change the default colors of the PalmOS user interface. I have nice crimson tabs and turquoise blue pull down menus, instead of the boring blue . You can also change the text color, underline, background, highlight, buttons, etc. And it's free!

On a tangential note, you can delete Khroma once you have your colors set to your liking, and they'll survive anything short of a hard reset. Don't delete Khroma if you want to revert to the default colors.

This program may be what pushes me over the edge to get a Clie T615. This is the kind of customizing that I loved in my WinCE device (a NEC MoblePro 700) and really missed when I moved to Palm. I can already see my future blue Clie with a Ice type hue in all the apps... nice...
