Has anyone else had this problem? I have my Visor in the Handspring Slim Leather Case and I carry it in my bag to work each day. It has been getting turned on by itself in my bag and therefore running down the batteries (not to mention sending my calendar ahead or back many days!!). Does anyone have a suggestion of a case that would be better for me? I like how the Visor is easily accessible in this case, but it is too easy for the buttons to get pushed even when the case is closed!!

i don't have a slim case so i don't know if you can do this, but have you tried turning the visor the other way so that the back faces you? i know this isn't as convenient but it would offer better protection of the screen and the buttons. just a suggestion....

If you're not stuck on having leather than get a flip cover.

The hard cover will protect the screen, buttons, and power button. It will be thinner than your slim leather case and it will still fit in your bag or in your pocket.

There are a couple of hacks out there that will make it tougher for the palm to get turned on.

For instance, there are hacks that disable the power button for powering on unless you are also pressing the "page down" button.

You can use StayOffHack to disable the power button. Then use ButtonOnHack to assign one of the four application buttons as a power button for the first press. Therefore, you would press the Databook button to power on, but the Datebook would not be launched until a second press of the button.

Or, if you don't like that, StayOffHack can be set to only power on if you are holding the "page down" button at the same time. Personally, I don't like to have to use two hands just to power on the Visor.
