visorphone draining?

there was an old post at visorvillage about the led staying on dimmed when turning off the visorphone and possibly draining it. is this actually normal? i notice mine is on dimmed when i turn it off. only way to get it completely dark is to disconnect the battery...

I think this is normal and the battery isn't being drained as if the phone were on. I think when the battery is fully charged the LED always glows a bit, but the phone is still off. Once the battery has drained a bit, the glow goes away.
