Neo Hotsync Problem
Okay, if anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it. HS hasn't really been helpful. Here's the story:
I have a Visor Neo. I bought it in late November. On 2/16/2002, my Neo suddenly would not sync when you hit the button on the cradle. I could however, hotsync by hitting the icon on the Neo. I called the 90 day free support line. They sent me a new cradle. Same problem. The button does NOTHING. I called HS back. I wanted a new Neo. They sent me a box to ship my Neo back to them, never even giving me the option to have them replace the Neo first then I'd ship it back.
I got my OLD Neo back the day that the box I mailed should have hit HS. Yes, it was from HS, as they added a cover and stylus to my Neo, but it had the same serial number. When I called HS today, they said that they repaired it (it still doesn't hotsync using the button on the cradle), and that I wouldn't get a new one even if I paid the $25 to have one shipped to me. It would be reconditioned. ARGH! I can't afford $25 to have them ship me a Neo, and I've already spent $15 to send it to them ONCE.
I've tried using the cradle on two different computers. The button still doesn't work. I want a NEW Neo, and I want them to make sure they ship me a new one, not a reconditioned one. I'm not even sure they looked at my Neo as it had to have just hit HS then they sent it back immediately.
HELP?
