Try balancing your checkbook, that always puts me to sleep no matter what time of day it is.. (for that matter any form of math usually does as well).. If math fails, I drag out this old COBOL programming book I had when I was in college, I could never stay awake while reading it when I was in school, I still keep it solely for that reason.. works like a charm ..

Try Valerian and cut out the cafeine...

Have been having the same problem for a while too, and it seems to help a bit...

Do files get embarrassed when they get unzipped?

Balancing my checkbook doesn't put me to sleep. It's usually finished within 5-10 minutes (at the most). That's one of the reasons I'm fond of Quicken, Pocket Quicken, and online banking. Online banking lets me download cleared transactions in the background while checking my email. Having Pocket Quicken makes sure that I jot down debit/credit transactions away from the desktop. Finally, Quicken's auto-reconcile feature flat out rocks!

Well i finally fell asleep last night and i just woke up (lol its 1 pm).
Ive got a lotta things i cant wait for coming up, like going snowboarding and going to a Tool concert, so im stuck all night thinking about those things. Then i gotta think about school, and how im going to do well this year. And in the back of my mind im thinking how im gonna pick up the incoming freshman chicks...

Also, i dont know about balencing a check book cause im only 15. Maybe when i become old and stuff, ill use it to get me to sleep. All i gotta worry about is how much they take out of my paycheck for taxes! I've worked for 9 weeks, getting 200 a week, and they took out like 500 bucks! If i dont get it back in april, ill be pissed. But if i do get it back, it will be sweet because thats when im hoping to buy myself a car.
Adios

My fault, I should have specified the "old fashioned way, by hand, no electronic assistance, just a pencil and paper, optional eraser"..

for the record , I also bank online as well.. and yes it does rock (as I hate doing it manually!).

Consider yourself lucky! Enjoy it (your age) while it lasts!

For me, watching the weather on the 11pm news never fails to put me to sleep. Don't know why... I keep threatening to tape the weather and replay it whenever I can't sleep... Wish I could get the weather channel in my area.

I realized what you meant. I was just glad that I don't do it that way anymore. Quicken is one of the few apps that I think does what computers are supposed to do, i.e. make dull and boring tasks easy and painless.

Dude, its only August 12th. You've got to wait at LEAST 3 more months before it even gets cold enough for snowboarding (unless, you're on your way to South America right now....)

Please don't. We don't need old geezers like you with broken hips littering the slopes

Well, i actually went to South America a couple weeks ago (Venezuela)

I had to take these malaria pills, so i bet its whats keeping me awake. These things do wonders on your mind.

Last night i had a dream it was snowing, and i woke up remembering someone on these boards telling me i have 3 months to wait. I logged on and was really close to posting a message saying "3 months, you crazy? It just snowed last night!" but i cought myself before i hit Submit. Man oh man, thank god yesterday was the last day i had to take the darn pill!

no wonder...

I've heard some people (of less mental and physical strength than you, Drakion, of course) have gone completely insane on those pills.

Glad you're just dealing with hallucinations and sleeplessness.
