Guess what? I can get a new handheld now! But... there is a problem. I have a BUDGET. Poor poor me. Well... I can probably push it and get a Vx. Or I can degrade myself and enter a state of selfdepression by getting a IIIxe. Or get a new Visor Deluxe. Should I enter the evil realm of Palm or stay a Visor junkie? Please vote. Thanks.

Not clear on your background. Did you break the old one and cant get it fixed? Or did you lose it? I would say the Visor as you can always expand it unless you anticipate not having money to do so in which case get the cheapest one.

It's not so much that we hate Palm, but we just prefer Handspring more.

Did you buy any SBs?
If so, it's prob. better to stay w/HS.

Cool Well..

If you don't have any Springboards... BUY A IIIXE!

They're dirt cheap, and they've got an Upgradeable OS! Ok, they're not the best looking things in the world. So what? They perform wonderfully. Dollar-for-dollar, this is the best value in the history of PDA"s. Well... I think HandEra probably tips it, but the IIIxe is a great handheld. But don't trust me! C|Net also ranked it #1! (Palm OS!)

Personally, I wonder why anyone would pay so much more (well, not anymore) for a Vx than the IIIxe.

BUT, if you sign up as a developer, you can get a Vx for dirt-cheap!

Talking

Hmmm... should I have a chance I would settle for something upgradable and battery rechargable (Oh well, I have a VDX now - they have none)

BTW : Is IIIxe rechargable like the Prism or Vx ?

Cool Well...

Out of the box it's NOT battery rechargeable. (I find this a wonderful thing!) . HOWEVER, you can buy a rechargeable battery for it for use in your autocar, etc.

The Palm Vx has kerplunked in price. I'd buy one now if I wanted one. (It's $20.00 less to developers than a VDX!)
