Case for springboards?

Through my experiences i have found that not only do i LOVE my handspring but that when i travel i have tr5ouble varring all the springboards. After giving it some through i wold like to know what you have either found to work best or would there be a market for a like zipper case that would hold modules so that they are easy to travel with and are protected. Maybe i just havent found one, and if so does anyone know of any such products?
Thanks.

I have some Game Boy module cases for my "standard size" modules; I got a package of six at Target (the only place around me that carries them apparently, after weeks of hunting); these cases were suggested by someone here. The cases hold one mod each. What I wanted was some sort of padded portfolio with eleastic straps to hold modules in place.
Right now I'm looking for a small pouch or camera bag or something like that to carry all of my gear (which isn't much right now) and is somehow or somewhat expandable (for future acquisitions).

I'm glad you asked. 8^)

The SpringWallet is the first product designed specifically to address the needs of the Handspring Visor owner. The SpringWallet holds up to four Springboard modules, memory cards, as well as a spare set of batteries, and two extra stylii. The SpringWallet offers Visor owners an attractive, affordable solution for all their Springboard storage needs.

The SpringWallet protects your modules, conveniently storing them with the accessories you need most often, in a neatly organized case.

Take a look at <http://www.SpringWallet.com/> for more info or to order.

But seriously, I was in the same boat and searched around for a suitable solution. I tried the large gameboy cartridge case, but it's big, bulky, and doesn't fit anything but absolutely flush/standard sized modules. So I developed the SpringWallet. Between my wife and I, we have more than a dozen modules (love that Matchbook Drive (<http://www.matchbookdrive.com/> ) liquidation!) and the SpringWallet is a necessity for us.

Anyway, take a look and let me know what you think... Thanks!

Hey, that's pretty neat! I gotta scrape up twenty bucks.
Any chance for a Rasta pattern (red, yellow, green)?
and are the stylus loops small enough for the Visor StylusPen (slightly smaller diamerter than the stock stylus)?

That looks cool, but can it accept irregular sized springboards? I have many springboards and a few like the EM, modem, Minijam that arnt standard size. Is there any new design that is comming out?

Some will fit -- The EyeModule can fit, as can the Targus Voice Recorder, but the Handspring Modem doesn't, the GlenAyre thing doesn't, and the MiniJam probably won't. We are working on another version that will hold the larger modules (probably to be called the SpringWallet+, as in Plus size). We probably won't put it into production, however, unless the regular one starts to sell.

Rest assured that you will hear about it here once we have it ready. (I handed off several SpringWallets to Alan when he was in San Francisco, so hopefully you'll see at least a news story on VisorCentral shortly.)

I will look for a Rasta pattern. (My sister-in-law suggested that the Rainbow pattern had those colors, but when I stopped laughing I explained that it wasn't quite the same thing. 8^) The stylus loops should handle the StylusPen with no problem -- I'll pick one up and report.

I just spent the morning building my own contraption for holding springboards. I wanted something to go into my briefcase, secure the modules, and not take up as much space as the rigid plastic bin I was using did. I'm not done with it yet but right now it holds 5 modules standard size and the eyemodule. The other half will hold larger modules like my Targus voice recorder, Handspring modem, etc. So all told it will hold about nine mudule sized things (I'm making a spot for my Presenter-to-go remote) on one side of a piece of rigid plastic 8" x 12". This will tuck perfectly in the middle pouch of my Eagle Creek bag. I'll take a few picures and post them on my web page if anyone wants to see them.
