Buying an Edge

My friend really wants an edge. He keeps trying to buy mine, but I want it. And he won't let me buy him something like that. Doesd anyone know of a place where I can buy one for cheap?

Hey,

Go to www.consumerdepot.com last time I saw they had the edge for a cool $109 refurbished.

Are you more mad because you're trying to get one, or because Handspring has proved your cheerleading wrong?

You may not have the pompoms, but your responses in the recurring "Is the Edge discontinued?" type threads certainly was misplaced optimism despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

What's the going rate for a used one in new condition?

it's was just that my friend said that the HS people said they weren't discontinuing the edge. that's a pretty good source.

Not in such a case as this. They've a vested interest in obfuscating the truth. Dubinsky told the truth back at their conference call. They received a justified backlash, then they went into marketing mode and tried to spin it so that the channel wouldn't just die and leave all their potential Treo vendors holding the bag.

Well, there's lots and lots of new ones on the market yet...Amazon.com had Blue & Silver new in stock for just a hair under $150.00.

I did get a new red one yesterday before they were sold out...wonder if I got the 'last one'? Had to be close.

Always wanted an Edge ... if it doesn't work out, I'll get a Clie.

Well the NR-70's are nice, but users are starting to complain of MS problems. Plus its big by comparison, and comes with a big $$$.

For my money, I'll probably be picking up a T-655 soon.

For those canucks out there,

staples.ca still has the visor edge in their database. it's priced at 330 CAD.

I'm already eyeing. it..
