Just got the backup module springboard for my VDx. It works great. Now the question...where do most people store this? I have the small leather case that came with it and no place to store.
Opinions?

I use a "Beepsuit" keychain designed for a small Motorola beeper. I found it not too long ago at OfficeMax in their discount/overstock bin. It was about 4 bucks. Its made out of stretchy wet suit neoprene and will fit a module or two and even has room for a couple of AAA batteries. It has a velcro closure and is really secure. I usually carry bills in it also since I don't use a wallet for cash.

Thumbs up

Put it in a GameBoy cartridge case. It fits great!

I just received my backup module today, and I was wondering: does it do any harm to leave the backup module in the Visor?

That's the only module I own for now, so I could just leave it in the Visor, if there's no technical reason not to. Would it interfere with anything else running on the Visor? Could a misbehaving app on the Visor do any harm to the backup module?

I agree with James that the GameBoy cases work well. You can order a 5-pack from Nintendo.com for $4 + $2.50 shipping. Part # is 38459.

Cool

I have a Targus Leather Double Wallet for Auciton on eBay. This Case is great for storing a few springboards, and to hold an extra set of batteries. I own one of these cases, and I used my Hardcover to attach the Visor to the Case, just use it like the Handspring cases do. The case is New, and in perfect condition. http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAP...;item=266807863

About leaving the module in. I think it will ware down the batt quicker. It was doing that when I had the Tiger woods golf game...

WRT leaving the module in, if your Visor is stolen or gets dropped in a lake, your module goes with it. In that case, not only would you have to buy another one, but you'd lose any data you backed up but had not hotsynched yet.
