Hullo. I was looking on the Palm de Cool site today, and started to wonder whether or not there are other KAIZO sites out there. It seems really cool. I think the Night Rider thing for the Deluxe is cool. I was just wondering if there was another good KAIZO site that is in both Japanese and English [better yet, just English].

Kaiso/kaisen sites

Not that I'm aware of. I'm a big hardware hacker/modifier and I would love to find other examples of Palm devices that have been customized.

The most that I tend to find is sites that offer replacement cases for Palm III's and replacement parts (digitizers, screens, etc.) but nothing else.

If anyone has the interest to make such a site for english speakers, I will happily donate some content in the form of photos and text on my experiences with custom case coloring.

Also, I would post pictures of my custom Altoids(tm) PDA case.

Palm de Cool: RIP

Sadly, it seems that Palm de Cool has closed shop (see note below from the website, as translated by Altavista.) What a shame - it really was a cool site to browse through and admire the ingenuity and creativity of the people who contributed to it. Sayonara and a tip o' the hat to Molly et al.
