neo can't see cf card anymore???

everything has been great... i have a innopocket flashplus and a 64mb cf card. today i turn on my visor neo and go into jfile (database proggie) and all my databases are gone. while looking a little more it turns out that all apps on the card are gone too. i go into vfs helper and it says 'no card' but the card is there. i took it out and re-seated it, but no go. it still says there is no card.

i haven't done anything weird to my visor lately, but can't say the last time i accessed the card... a week at most. so what happened?? cf card go bad? flashplus go bad? what can i do to test? i have an extra cf card but it's for my digital camera and not sure if it would freak out if i put it in my visor... and what would it do when i put it back in my camera??

a little help and advice plz...

had a thought... if i put my visor cf card in my digital camera will the camera freak out? will it reformat the card? just trying to figure out how to tell if the card is bad, or the flashplus, or what.

update

update...
it miraculously healed itself - LOL

not sure if this was the cause... but noticed that filemover thought it had expired. i ran the 'unexpire' program from kopsis and tried a few more things and it found the card again

but this has taught me a lesson... spend $20 on a card reader so i can backup my card to my pc (i assume this is the only way to back up a card??)
