Angry Cannot Sync - been a while...

Help! I think my Visor rusted! Just kidding. I have been PC-less since November. I have not done a hot sync since then... Now I am back up and running. I cannot sync to save my life. I lost all of my data anyway (back up buddy woulda been smart...) and have done a soft-reset. I am using a USB cradle and I have d/l the new Palm 3.1 from Handspring, plus the registry cleaner... All to no avail. I get the message "The connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again" however, I do get a USB icon in my system tray (I am running Win2000) which leads me to believe that data is being transmitted to the PC. Any ideas? I am super frustrated...

Thanks in advance

It's Fixed

I have corrected the problem by syncing with a serial cable... Oh well.

If that's so, perhaps you've lost the USB drivers, or they've become corrupted.
