In the course of beta testing the MemPlug and PiDirect(and so repeatedly taking it in and out of the module to and to quickly load programs from a reader), my 32meg SMcard has begun to show some signs of plastic fatigue (the black plastic is beginning to turn white on one side right where it meets the MemPlug). I don't know whether that would have occurred had I not been doing so much manipulation of it. And it still looks like it has plenty of life left to it.
But anyway, the point is, if it breaks or part of it breaks, it will in all likelihood break right along that line. Why cut or snap it off now, why not just wait and see?
Either way, how would you to get the card out of the module (or an external reader) if the whole end surface is cut or breaks off?
