I *think* I understood what's being asked (I'm not used to reading run-on sentences :-)

Let me see if I got the following right:

You have a Visor and you installed a program called "GoBar".

Then, you deleted it to upgrade the PalmOS. But after you deleted GoBar, you are now seeing a different menu instead of what you were expecting.

If that's the case, you forgot to uncheck GoBar as the default start up application. The result is that you get a strange menu.

What you need to do is:

1) Reinstall GoBar. Yes, put it back on your Visor.
2) Once GoBar is reinstalled, go into GoBar's preferences and uncheck the option "Make GoBar the default".
3) Now you can uninstall GoBar and you should get back the normal PalmOS menus.

If the above isn't the case, you might want to restate what's happening again.

After reading that, I am now schzophrenic.

...But the voices in my head tell me you should install Z catalog and use it to delete what you don't want, being very sure that you don't delete the wrong things!
