New Sony Clie "NZ90"

this is the PDA I've been waiting for, the new Sony NZ90 looks really sweet!
go to their site to check it out,
The 2 mega pixel camera w/ flash looks really really cool, also they say you can hook up the PDA to a full size monitor.

When I first saw it I was like who needs it? The price can cause a heart attack too, 800 dollars! You could buy a very good computer or notebook with that type of money. Nothing much else is new either. I only see this device for some professional photographer who would really like their camera to be their PDA.

Pretty expensive, but also very feature rich. Not sure about the current generation CLIE's, but this one has BlueTooth, VoiceRecorder, 2 MegaPixel Digicam with Flash, AutoFocus and Digital Zoom. The CLIE also has a WiFi slot which _appears_ to be for a Sony WiFi Card. Interesting to see if a normal Compact Flash WiFi card would work, though I doubt any drivers would be available.
At any rate, this could be a nice device. Personally, I would rather have a lower end CLIE and $400.00 DigiCam, but I am sure these will sell well.

Wow... I am going to have to get one of those immediately! That is, immediately after they drop in price to about $200 on Ebay. I make it a point to be one step behind in technology... it is much cheaper that way.
So let me encourage those on the bleeding edge: buy to your heart's content! Get the newest and greatest as soon as it comes out, and sell your old equipment to me! It is win-win!

Does anyone else worry about these "PDAs" getting bigger and bigger? I actually thought HSpring had it right when the Treo got smaller...but Sony seems to be going the opposite direction.

Just their N series... the other Clie's are pretty small if you ask me...
