The difference between-
What is the difference between the functions of Address Book and Address Book+? I realize that I should know that by now but I am still unable to find one any more convenient or different from the other.
Thanks

Have you got an Edge, Pro, or Neo? It may be that Address Book+ is just the version of AB that includes the Fast Lookup.

Address book+ Limited Edition version of Datebook3 (a third party app). The main differences are the ability to use different views of your data. Look at the little Icons on the bottom left of your Address book & Address book+ screens. See how they bring up your data in a different way? There are some other differences in the menus, too.

I think all of you must be referring to Datebook and Datebook+. And in that case, it would be what TDS said. I don't think there is a + version of Addressbook unless it's a piece of third party software.

The Digital Link (and possibly the VisorPhone?) comes with an app named AddressBook+ that essentially adds the ability to dial a number directly from the standard AddressBook. There is also a 3rd party app named Address+.

I have a Visor Platinum and there are two icons on the start up screen ..... one is Address Book and the other is Addressbook+ I have never added any new software {that I am aware of}for that option.

I'm not seeing any difference at all, the only one is at the top left of both applications......"Address" is on Address Book"address-list " is on the AddressBook+
Addressbook= Versionv3.5 copyright 1999 Palm computing
Addressbook+=Version 3.1 copyright 1993-1999 3com corp. or it's subsidiaries?????

Wow, I'm feeling really stupid . Obviously i'm not an expert at this stuff,,,,,,, I have Xircom Global Access module, 8mb Flash module, Backup Module and a Stowaway Keyboard but I honestly don't remember adding any software or anything for an Address book, Any thoughts or ideas? Could it possibly be an application associated with one of the above add ons?
Thanks

Download This software and install it. It's called Z'Catalog. Every piece of software comes with a little bit of information called the "Create ID." It's a 4 letter code that the programmer sets so you can identify where it came from. Hopefully, that will explain this.
