I received an email from E&B this morning informing me my case was shipped out today, which I confirmed on their website. In my opinion, the wait would have been acceptable with some decent customer service attached (sound familiar?) However, it still bothers me that when I ordered, the item showed as in stock when it was not, I never received information from E & B letting me know the status, other than that the item was on backorder, I had to contact E & B repeatedly to even get a reply, and they have done nothing to try to make it up to me (sending it express after being backordered for 6 weeks would have gone a long way in placating me, heck I would have PAID for express delivery if I had any clue of the time frame when I ordered the thing!!) I hope the case is worth the wait, but the experience still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe both Handspring and E&B could learn something from Panache.
