It will happen. I would be VERY surprised is Handspring doesn't release a color replacement for the Prism this year. In fact, I think that the Neo and Pro is the last monochrome PDA only devices from Handspring.

Ok, you suck. And since you posted on the 1st of January, you will suck the remainder of the year.

What a nasty way of getting us to view your post. It is almost as bad as posting, "Handspring to lower price of Prism to $50".

We are all clamoring for a new color Handspring product with features similar to the Clie' or Handera. I just can't get excited about the Treo with its smaller screen and same resolution. I want a new Visor-like product with high res color and support for CF or MMC. Sony has cranked out so many new products this past year I can't help but think Handspring is no longer on the bleeding edge of the PDA scene.

I read the posts here everyday and somehow think there is a lull in the excitement. I can remember the excitement when the Prism and Platinum came out. There was no Palm product that could touch them for features. The Edge product line was ok, but nothing to spark the excitement of past products. I really want to be able to say, "I own a Handspring", and get a reaction from the PDA crowd like I own a Porsche or Ferrari. I think we had this once, but Sony and Handera have pulled ahead.

Let's see what the New Year brings for us; maybe it will be just what we all need to break the doldrums.

whats wrong with the present prisim? intill you get this os 5 out a new prisim would make no sence...all programs will still be made for 3.0 or above you can bet on that...intill 5 and the new chips are out, nothing can touch the versatility that hadspring modules give, and the screen on the prisim fine with me, im not looking to hook a dvd player to it,lol....., size is fine i wouldnt put it in my poket anyway thats dumb to me...anyway so on and etc....Steve
