When using Datebook+'s week view (the 2nd option from the left), the times all start on the full hour, even when the appointment starts on the half, etc. Is there some way to change this?

When you click on the appt. that's at the half hour does the pop-up dialog say it starts at xx:30? All of my appt's that start at the half hour do appear to be on the half hour line on the weekly view. I don't think there is a preference option for this. Do you have another appt. that starts before it at the beginning of the hour?

I found this to be one of the most frustrating things about the datebook organizer. I even purchased an add-on Action Names - I liked a lot of their added features, the views and to-do options. Their earlier versions had the same problem. I sent lots of feedback - they finally listened.

In their latest version 4.05 the appointment times all show the starting time not just the hour designation. They even have a scroll bar that allows you to set the appointment by 5 minute increments. For this feature alone I find the $20 worth it.

No association with the company - iambic software - just a very satisfied user.

++++++++
If you're not into buying extra software here's the work around I finally came up with. It looks a little strange in the daily view but solves the problem in the week view.

When you add a new appointment make the first entry of the text the colon and time Example :15 followed by the appointment text info. In the week view it will display 8a :15 Staff meeting

rdbailey,

You must be thinking of the "other" weekview (the 2nd option from the left on the little icons at the bottom). That one works fine. I like the format of the 3rd option (in Datebook+, not Datebook) from the left better because it shows all of the appointments in text. The only problem is that it only shows whole hour increments.

My datebook alllows for 5 min. intervals that show up on weekly or daily screens. Are you using the datebook+ option? My pop-up screen shows the 5 min. intervals.

Rolando,
When you are in the '3rd Option from the left week view' (appointments in text), tap on the option button on the silk screen, from the options pull-down select 'week preferences'. In the week preference option you have a 'Time Format' field to select the type of time format you like.

Good Luck.
