Cool

It might be a good idea to go to http://www.palmgear.com and click on "The Essentials" and "Recommended software" just to see what's out there.

Those of you who want to always "be prepared" might want to go to http://www.healthypalmpilot.com/review.cgi?ID=122
and get a copy of the First Aid manual. Covers CPR, broken bones, and the like. A document reader is required.

Definitely a Backup Module! The most practical Module there is.

Amen to that--- especially with the eyemodule stuffing the memory!

I see some of the things I was thinking about. A nicer stylus. Backup module. Screen protection. Avant-Go (my single fave app!)

But some other key software innovations that I really love: Launch 'em
and
JOT.

The latter in particular is the unsung hero of handhelds. It allows you to write on the whole screen (using graffiti or their own system) and also to see the letters as you form them. It makes data entry much easier.

Lightbulb I admit it...

After discovering the total coolness of Avantgo, and being able to sit down with my visor and read, wow! I have about 1 meg to 1.5 meg eaten up with AvantGo every day.

Im thinking about buying a backup module, just to be safe. Although the 8 meg upgrade is really nice to, I'm just not sure I want to spend $80 right now :/

Yay for handspring!
