Putting Visor on computer

Is there a way to interface my Visor with the computer so that the Visor screen is mirrored on the computer using the hotsync cradle so I can do a presentation. My budget does not allow the purchase of a presenter-to-go and I don't think my school would clear a $300 springboard for a one time presentation. So I need a cheaper alternative. I've looked into a Palm OS emulator but I can't figure out how to get the ROM images from the net they keep wanting me to sign up for a developer's program or something. Any information on how to do a presentation like this would be appreciated as even though my technology teacher has told me to talk to the IBM lab assistant I don't think s/he will know what to do.

I don't think there is any program that will do that, no.

Just sign up as a developer. It doesn't cost anything, you just give them an e-mail address and other info (name, address, etc., you can be as truthful as you want, I suppose. I wasn't) and if you live in the U.S., they e-mail you a username/password to get onto the site to download the ROMs. It's not very involved.

You can use the instructions in this thread to download the Visor ROM with a USB cradle.

Thank you, you are a new type of god truely worthy of my worship. Anyways I'd personally perfer a Margi Presenter-to-go but since its out of my price range this should do fine.

No, not at all... God is watching over others much more needy and worthy than us right now...

I've had a great experience with Presenter to Go and would advise you to seek out the funds to get it or wait til it gets discounted somewhere. I tried some of the other options and couldn't come up with anything quite so slick. Maybe you could share the expense with another department or teacher.
