Angry

I am having periodic difficulty syncing to outlook. sometimes while backing up databases, hotsync stalls out, and the box is just blank background tone. When I hit ctrl alt del it says outlook is not responding. (I have opened and closed outlook prior to the hotsync operation) Clicking end task allows the sync to finish with the messages

System synchronization failed
Protocol Error: Handheld file not found. (4003)
HotSync operation complete 02/05/2001 08:19:30 AM

So what is the deal.

I have experienced this exact same problem with Outlook Express.

I don't know any real solution, but one thing seems to help. Before exiting Outlook Express, make sure it is done with any disk accesses and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. This seems to eliminate the freezes with Outlook.

But if anybody has another solution, I'd like to hear about it.
