Today is the first day that I've been able to test my VDx. I have used a Vx for a short period of time before. I've noticed some differences with the screen and was wondering if other previous Palm and Visor owners could verify they are experiencing the same thing.

When I read AvantGo channels on the Vx, I would scroll with the vertical scroll bar. I would be able to read/scan as I scrolled. The Vdx's text seems to fade a bit when scrolling making reading very difficult.

I've also noticed that the VDx screen feels resistive to the stylus. I've tried both the Vx and VDx's stylus' When writing graffiti or moving the stylus across the screen, the stylus seems to slightly stick to the screen. Whereas, the Vx seems to glide across the screen. It's almost like they forgot to wax the screen.

Also, the calculator seems to open when clicking on the bottom right corner of the screen. I think this has been notice my Mic - the San Fran palm user group person - who had a pre release copy of the Visor.

Finally, I've noticed the VDx's screen seems pretty sharp but is duller in brightness.

The calculator DOES open up way above the icon (the space between the LCD and the silkscreen) which is strange...
