Question

Would there be any benefit to hard resetting my Visor and reinstalling from the Backup module? My experience with desk-tops tells me that sometimes computers keep too many crap files and that some sort of "clean-up" is necessary...
what'cha think?

Your backup module contains an exact duplicate of your Visor's RAM. So doing what you propose is like making a complete tape backup, formatting your hard drive, and reloading the contents of the tape. Nothing will have changed.

(Actually, the Visor ROM will reinstall the Graffiti teaching program even if you deleted it. This is a minor point and otherwise what I said is true.)

Thanks for the reply.
Based on your reply, it sounds like a "hotsync" would be more what I had in mind, but I trust the backup module more than hot sync.

I agree with K Cannons statement about needing to do a cleanup everyonce in awhile. Looking at my backup folder, there are tons of stuff I don't need in there but what do I need to keep? Network db? saved pref? libmal? Mathlib? mobillink? etc...
What are the ones I really need to keep?
