Lightbulb

Does anyone know if you can "beam" from the Visor memo pad to a PC using the irDA ?

Since I am a Linux user, I backup my visor with the backup module BUT I would love to be able to beam text from my browser or another app on my Linux box to my pilot (saves a lot of typing).

I have seen IRpad, but I really want to go the other way (PC --> visor).

Two questions:
- Anyone know of a program that does this (Linux or Windows) ?
- Is this possible (with ir enhancement) ?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Well,

I know that everyone says it's possible. pilot_xfer on the linux side can certainly squirt individual entries to the visor.

It is my understanding that the linux IrDA stuff can catch a file sent from the visor.

But I have never been able to test due to difficulties getting IrDA running on my libretto.
