I read on the hanspring website that the visor platinum comesa with a built in microphone, my question is... Where is it, what can be done with it, and WHY is it hidden???

To answer your 3 questions:

1) There's a little hole in the lower left corner of the Visor... that's the microphone.

2) By itself, it can do nothing... it's wired directly to the Springboard port. It only works on modules specifically desiged to use it.
