Ok, I have no idea how I did this, but the fixed decimal number format on my visor has been set to display zero digits in the decimal. I tried the user's manual, but there's nothing about setting this format in there. Is there an easy way to set this, or somewhere on the net that describes how to do this?

Have you tried "Preferences / Formats?"

For Advanced calculator:
1. Enter a number in your calculator display line which will be the number of decimal places that you want (e.g. 2).
2. Tap on Fixed/Float/Sci/Eng dropdown.
3. Tap on Fixed.

Just below the numeric input/results display are three pull-down menues. The center one controls the decimal display.

Float: Only displays decimals if value is non-zero
Fixed(x): Displays 13 decimal positions
Sci(x) & Eng(x): Displays are similiar showing an exponential value

You could also use the Basic Calculator. While in Calculator mode:

Tap the menu icon
Tap "Options"
Tap "Change Mode..."
Tap "Basic"
Tap "OK"
