Question

I am pretty new to the world of PDA's and I have 2 basic questions about my new VDx.
First, how do I check how much memory I have left.
And second, how do I delete files from my Visor.
thanx
Nick

Nick_hopf,
To ease both of these issues, I use an app called LauncherIII. It gives you the memory usage in either Megabytes left or as a bar graph and to delete apps, you just drag and drop them on a little hammer icon that allows you to either beam them to another Palm or delete them. Pretty nice as well as free!

To do the same things without LauncherIII, from the Applications Page, click the menu button and then click the delete item. This will bring up a menu of all installed apps that you can select to delete. It will also show you the used/free memory stats as well.

Hope this helps. There are always easier ways to do things on the Visor, it's just a matter of installing a program that puts more information at your fingertips than the PalmOS does.

Mark
