Dictionary/Thesaurus Springboard?

Do any of you guys have one of these? The only one I can find that is available is the Franklin Merriam-Webster version and the two short reviews on Amazon (all I could find) weren't all that flattering. A module like this would be perfect for me but I don't want to waste money on something that is not implemented well. I'd rather carry it in book form.

Are there any other options in springboard format? It looks like the one from LandWare is vapourware and I'd like to use my limited RAM for other purposes besides Noah.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Ark.

Sorry folks. It looks like this topic has been discussed before and I just didn't remember. Although the previous discussions are dated I don't think anything new has developed since. I should have searched first....

Stupid Arker! Stupid, stupid Arker! *slaps forehead*

Cheers,

I believe that the best option would be to use a Flash module or CF module with your choice of dictionary stored on it.

Hrrmmm... Lookin' at that solution now actually. Call me petty but is anyone else disappointed that the Flash Modules don't come in the ice colour?

hehe..

Another alternative...

BDicty has VFS support, so as soon as Kopsis' VFS drivers come out of beta, you could get a FlashPlus and put as many dictionaries as you want on the CompactFlash Card and leave them there.

I've played with it and it mostly works -- a few bugs (expected for a very early beta release). When it's ready for primetime it will be incredible! Works on a Visor Deluxe too.

Noah Pro is also coming out with VFS support. www.arslexis.com $19.95, as is the next iteration of Mapopolis www.mapopolis.com. With dictionary and maps on a CF, I can give up my 8Mb flash springboard.
