Lightbulb MemPlug sale at CompUSA

9/2 circular for CompUSA shows both Memplugs available for $29.99 after mail in rebate.
Now which one to buy? CF or Smart Media, I am media-less right now.

*looks at ad*

Ooooh!!!

*Looks at wallet*

Darn it! I knew I shouldn't have purchased that Innopack 2/V 2 weeks ago that I have yet to recieve.

*Thinks*

Well on second thought if I got the MemPlug I would have had to purchase a compact flash card. Maybe I'll ask for MemPlug for X-Mas .
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Get the compactflash as they can accept higher memory cards

On the last page of the ad, they have a section of free stuff (after mail-in rebate of course) and they list an 8mb CF card. That might help you make a decision.

Great on the rebate. WHile some of the larger LexarCF cards don't work , it lloks like the posts on this one says it does.
Now, Will the memplug fit in the Visor cases with the locking plate from the cover?
R

Question Now lets see if the other shoe drops

If you've been to Mathbook page you will notice that he is not for the time being shutting down
Maybe Memplug wants to encouage him to do so by this sale. I wonder if Flashplus will weigh in with a deal hmmmm. I'd hold off till Wed. before doing anything.

AFAIK, the LexarCF card will have compatible problem with all Visor CF adapter available in the market.

Please visit our product forum for the compatible list of CF card.

Matchbook sells the FlashPlus for $40 + $4 shipping.

I heartily recommend both the Matchbook Drive and the FlashPlus.

I think I'm going to get a CD-Burner instead of Mem-Plug as currently I have no use for a Mem-Plug as I haven't even filled the internal RAM of my Visor.
