Phone Calls Manager?

Now that I have unblocked the VisorPhone from the OmniSky SIM I can use it with my Vodaphone or BT Cellnet regular SIM and dial into my ISP. And, I can use it for voice calls, too. But I thought that there was some sort of call manager with the VP? Can't find anything which records the time of the call, person called, place for notes, etc. Was I dreaming? If not part of the VP setup is there such an app available on the market?

Visorphone module includes Call History, a list of incoming, missed, and outgoing calls. Details on each call lists the name, number, date and time, call duration and roaming (yes/no). You can dial the number from the list or the details. You can also copy the number to the clipboard. There is no provision for attaching notes to a call. Call History is not listed as a separate application on the module. I assume it is part of the Phone application, along with the dialer and speed dial apps.

Talking but...

Ahhh, but is there a way to have it display the total minutes in the list? This would be extremely valuable but I can't figure out how to do it. Or how about a rounded up tally? For instance, Voicestream rips their customers off by billing by the minute. It would be nice to have the VP also display in mintues only.

Maybe there's a third party util to do this? That would rock!

Nope, no total minutes for the list, and no aggregate timers. You have to go to the Voicestream website to get that. With my old phone, about the only time I ever looked at the timers was when I reset them. It's not a critical feature, IMO. Could be useful for some.

Question unuseful feature???

Not when you're close to your monthly limit! They charge you an arm and leg per minute over you're monthly contract, so I think it would be a VERY valuable feature. IMO

HMMM
OK I found the Call Register which is useful, but not really complete as remarks above indicate. I must say that I am surprised that no one has come up with a nice little app to record all calls, data and voice, and allow notes to be made, etc. I did search on PalmGear but no luck so far.
