I just checked my credit card and the charge from handspring is pending. I guess what they did was tentatively put it through...It isn't in stone yet but it's there.
Now...the fact that they ran it through twice kind of frightens me.Its pending for 626! UGG! I still can't figure out why it comes out to 313.24. I ordered the VD and the Serial Cradle. Correct me if Im wrong, but the VD is 249. and the serial cradle if purchased with the VD is 19.99. Shipping is around 8 dollars. I live in Jersey so I don't pay CA tax. Any explanations?!
Did you order the Visor and then later call them back a second time to order the cradle?
If so they just verified the total order the second time. (So it looks like they have 2 Visors plus the cradle pending.)
The duplicated pendings should disappear by themselves.
As far as the taxes go, a number of states are trying to force all mailorder companies in their state to charge the local salestax on orders. Maybe that is what is happening. Just a wild guess on my part.

They did that to me, if I get two, they offered that I could only send one back and get a refund. They cannot tell if they have shipped two to me or not. I had twice the money pending and now have ALL my money back... probably charges are delayed as there are people getting visors w/o being charged yet.

I have no explanation, but your configuration and charges were consistent with mine ($316.13). See my posting on another thread ("Credit Card Charged?")
I ordered Ice Visor Deluxe with Serial Cradle option and no special shipping...

Same for me, and I ordered on Oct. 1.
I have complete trust in Handspring that they will make it right as far as the billing goes. If they don't, then I know that MasterCard will!
I'm not worried, as long as I have my new Visor sitting in my sweaty palm
