Wink

Does any one have both the Rhodiana case w/ the belt cilp and the otterbox 2K. I was wondering if the rhodiana will fit into the otterbox (along with the visor). I saw that Vinney, on another thred, said he was thinking about getting both this summer.

Thumbs down

Can't tell you for sure (cause I don't have one), but I doubt any case with the belt clip will fit in an OtterBox 2000.

I have my Visor in an EB Slipper, which is a fairly thin case, and it fits in the OtterBox fine, but I would estimate less than 3 - 5 mm "clearance" from the front of the case to the front of the OB2K.

I would think that any belt clip would be thicker than that, and it wouldn't fit. Not having the Rhodiana myself, I don't know if the belt clip is easily removeable. If it is, go for it. There's about 1/2" above the Visor in the OB2K that your clip can fit into.

Well...I had to go dig up my Otterbox, but the Rhodiana WILL fit in the Otterbox...you just have to remove it from the beltclip and place the clip in the space above the Visor.

BTW ~ I just noticed my Rhodiana is starting to show cracks in the plastic that holds the top of the Visor in place.

Talking

That's great. How much space is there left on the sides (ie. will the visor be secure if given a good shake, or will it bump against the sides.)I have a 2 year old who loves to shake things untill they rattle.

Out of curiousity, do you need to remove the foam lining from the top and bottom of the Otterbox 2000 when using it with the EB Slipper?

Thanks,

There is just a bit of space on the sides, but shaking will not be a problem...the fit with the Visor encased in the Rhodiana and then in the Otterbox is VERY snug.

Thumbs up

Birdie,

I have a black/clear OtterBox, so it only has 1 foam liner in it. I use it with the foam in, and I think that if it had another foam in the top it would still fit - the foam isn't that too thick, and there is a little bit of wiggle room.
