Ppp, Ras, Mschap

I'm working with my corporate Sys Admin to RAS in with my VDx and StarTac7868. According to the Network Log on my VDx CHAP throws me out. We are definitely sure my login and password are correct.

The corporate server is Win2k w/ MSCHAP. Does anyone know if OS3.1H3 supports MSCHAP. Anyone RASing into their corporate server? Any ideas?

Thanks.

The admin is going to have to allow CHAP. MSCHAP is only done between MS softwared machines. If MSCHAP is all he allows then it won't ever work. I haven't found anything yet that will add a MSCHAP hack to the OS.

I have to allow CHAP and MSCHAP on ours to support our visors.

It might also be a password encryption problem. I know when you set up NT/2000/ME to access a Samba server, password encryption needs to be turned off in the registry. Perhaps the Vdx software only supports simple-text passwords for PPP.
