Strange thing with Visor

When making a stroke with my stylus I get a weird thing right above my graffiti area that says command but doesn't seem to serve a purpose. Can someone explain this to me?

It let's you know that you are in command mode. With the newer OS's, there are icons in the area you mentioned that cut, copy, paste, delete, etc. depending on the app.

You must be using a deluxe or a solo. This is something that 3.1 does. The is the command stroke, and it allows you to do things in mose programs like cutting, pasting, etc. x cuts, p pastes, and so on. If you hit the menu button (lower left of silkscreened area), take a look at the righthand side of menus, you'll see a option for almost everything there in most programs.

The evil answer offers you solutions for the here and now, the holy answer tries to get you to shell out for dubious future gains.

...but maybe we shouldn't go there...

Ahhhh, but an upgraded OS could hardly be considered "dubious."

Better to Rule with a Solo then to Serve with a Platinum...

...Well, ok, I upgraded partially for the new OS, but that little toolbar thing is, to me, a fairly dubious upgrade given that it's hardly used to its full capabilities by any app.

You're merely trying to lure him/her into complacency, whereas I am trying to point out how good life could be.

The greatest trick the Solo ever pulled was to convince the world that he didn't exist.

Oh, I wouldn't call the baphomet evil, just misunderstood.
I first ran across him in an old book by the legendary Eliphas Levi.

When it comes to matters of science and logic, there are only two operations possible: analysis and synthesis. That is, cutting things into parts and putting things together. In French this is "Solve" and "Coagula", which you will see written on baphomet's arms.

Winchell-

Have you read Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco? If you dig the templars, it's a must-read (and an excellent deflating device for true believers!)

Oh, yes, I've read it. Vastly entertaining, if you are into that sort of thing. Unfortunately people who haven't studied the topic beforehand will tend to become lost. Foucault's Pendulum does not have much in the way of background information, it assumes that you know all about it already.

I hadn't, and I think it added to my enjoyment. While I'm sure that some of the nuances went over my head, the deeper themes (that last chapter is some of the best writing I've seen) put it in my top 10. The "getting lost" is part of the point of the book, IMO.

Thanks for your help everyone and I will say that I have no plans to buy a new Visor for at least a year probably 3 or 4 before I buy a new one though.
