Can someone tell me how to do this.

I do not have the MAPI option in outlook express 5.5, so therefore, according to handspring manual, i cannot sync my email.

Using w2k.

Thanks for any help.

Try going to Control Panel, Internet Options, Programs. In the box labeled E-mail, make sure Outlook Express is selected. If it's not an option, you may have to re-install OE.

I'm not sure MAPI is necessary. I sync with OE as a POP client. When installing the Palm desktop, I followed the standard prompts.

Thanks for replying guys,

I've tried everything that you've mentioned and also in one of the other threads but I still cannot get my email from my pc to my edge.

Default email is OE 5.5, do you think AOL has anything to do with it. I have an AOL connection but still use OE to access my hotmail.

The hotmail account is what I want really.

Thanks.

Ahhh... Hotmail. The Visor will only sync with the standard OE inbox. HotMail uses it's own folder to store messages and, as far as I know, can't be synced to the Visor.

There is a product called POP3HOT that will allow any pop mail client to download hotmail. Apparantly, some users in usenet have posted that it can be used to sync hotmail to your OE inbox.

Damn!

Thanks everyone for replying.

Don't suppose anyone knows of a program that can forward your hotmail to another pop3 account?

Trying that pop3hot now. Hope it works.

Thanks again.
