I have a VDX and I just bought my brother a Platinum for his birthday. Naturally, when it arrives I will want to play with it. Can I drop it in my existing VDX cradle and synch to it? Can I drop a VDX into a Platium cradle so I can atleast update my AvantGo when I am at his apartment?

Yes and Yes. The Platinum and Deluxe share the exact same cradle and case. (except color). Everything will work perfectly, just you'll have to make a new hotsync Id/user to differante the cradles..

I can evern get a platinum to sync in a Prism cradle!
