Visor Synchronization

I have Visor Prism and a Visor Neo. I've been looking into methods to keep the two handhelds synchronized. I plan to use the Neo as a back-up device should the Prism ever go kaputt on me. I was wondering what the best way might be to do this. I am having trouble with a backup module, as it tends to make me have to reset my Neo after I've backed up from my Prism. I've also tried to hotsync both of them to the desktop with similar results. I suspect alot of it has to do with color applications on a monochrome handheld. I was wondering if anyone out there had any ideas or suggestions in order to keep the Neo as a reliable and consistent backup device?
