A few thing Custom Minstrel Antena/JavaWeb/PalmDeveloperNeeded

I was at my moms the other day playing around with different configurations for an Aluminum foil solution.


And came up with something WILD!





- Cut a 10/10 Piece of Foil.

- Fold it 5 times until it's boxed shape

- Crincle it up into a ball ( Carefully not tearing it )

- Fold it around the Minstrel S's Stub

- Unfold it.

- Uncrincle it , and fold it Rectangularly

- Allow the bottom/Inside of the foil's fold to wrap around the Entire stub of the Minstrel

- Using a Scissors/Knife/Macheti/hack saw/flask/Razorblade/nails Cut the sides of the base of the foil so that the part folded around the stub is flat 360Degrees around.

- Unfold the foild so it looks like half of a rectangular satalite dish.


- Done / Enjoy a 10DB Gain


It's sounds crazy but it actually works the foild acts as a giant Signal Catcher

I think the very best thing about this is , You can just carry the small ball/or/Folded foil around in your pocket/Prism Case and not a bulky Replacement Antena.

My Next task is going to be , play around with some old Gator Wire Clips from an old Diode driven Radio to connect the Minstrel to our old Cast Iron steems we have in the house :-/
