Question pqa on visor?

Do the pqa files used to access web sites work on the Visor, or is it just for the Palm VII? I installed one, but it won't activate while I am connected to my ISP.

How do you delete one of these files? The regular method doesn't work.

Jeff

I don't think they work with a wireline modem, but VC mentions in their comparison of YadaYada and OmniSky that one (or both) of these services offer the use of PQA's. If the regular method of deleting doesn't work, I have no clue, other than to use a file mover app on a storage module or memplug if you have one available.

Running PQA's on your Visor

Hello,

You can indeed run PQA's using your Visor. I use them with my VisorPhone. However, I had to buy the Palm Mobile Internet Connect Kit and pull a few files off the CD and install on the Visor. The files on the CD are:

Clipper.prc 68k
ErrorStringsExt.prc 1k
ErrorStringsExtRsrc.prc 12k
InetLib.prc 44k
RMPNetPlugIn.prc 5k
SecurityLib.prc 50k
WebClip.prc 78k
WirelessPnl.prc 8k

If you just want to delete a certain file from your Palm, a program I've used for several years (and has never failed me) is PCompress. It's a little known Compression application that has never been posted to PalmGear, etc. The link for this great app. is http://www1.jump.net/~syenne/pilot/pcomp.html (and it's FREE!)

Best Wishes!
