Cool modem code update for prisms/platinums

card access-inc recommends that you download the updated modem code that can be found here.

i was able to research this through their faq.

if the update doesn't help, you could contact them at [email protected].

Lightbulb thincom and prism

thanks gimme, i did download the update but i could never put the modem in the prism without getting the fatal error reset. luckily, i still had the visor deluxe, which allowed me to update the modem and it now works on the prism.

my only problem now is that none of the browsers detect the modem. i have e-mailed thincom, but maybe you have an idea.

thanks for your help
terry

Try going into Preferences, Connection, and check your settings. According to page 202 of the Prism User's Guide, you need to select Serial to Modem as the Connection Method and Standard Modem in the Name field.

Question 1212 error

Maybe you could help me with this...

How do you fix a "1212 error?" This only occurs when I log onto Browse-It.

Thanks for your help-

John
