Cool Dream Visor: Handspring Visor 2.0

This Visor would be better than others and have the following:

1. Deluxe form factor
2. Metal casing like the edge, with color choice
3. Springboard 2.0
a. Allows springboards to power Visor: Can buy a AAA battery adaptor or rechargable battery pack to provide extra juice for long trips
b. Backwards compatible with Springboard 1.0
c. Higher Speed
4. Palm OS 4.1H
a. Collapsable Graffiti Area
b. Handspring File Manager: manage programs and drivers on flash ROM, in addition to RAM and other expansion cards
c. Handspring Media Player: allows you to play handspring media files converted by the Handspring Media Desktop
d. Run programs directly off CompactFlash and/or media on springboard adaptor w/o needing to keep Visor RAM free
e. No more conflicts between IR/Serial/Springboard as far as port use and whatnot
5. Handspring Desktop 4.1
a. HotSync Manager 4.1H: No longer annoys with HotSync complete message; copies computer time to Visor
b. Handspring pdb converter: Convert files to pdb for use in programs such as QuizApp; also converts to Palm .doc format
c. Handspring Media Desktop: Convert media files on desktop either audio or video to Handspring Media format for use on Visor
6. Flash ROM 4MB
7. RAM 16MB
8. Compact Flash Type II Slot on side
9. 65K+ High-Res Reflective Color Screen
9. High power IR port, now moved to top
10. Headphone Jack
11. HotSync Cradle 2.0 (Optional)
a. IEEE 1394 Connection
b. Ethernet Port
c. Compact Flash Slot
d. Doesn't need to plug into outlet to recharge Visor or Springboards, but its recommended
12. Internal Rechargable Battery Pack (Rated for 12 Hours of continous use)

you forgot high resolution and the included flying pigs

In all seriousness, if Handspring came out with a handheld as you just described plus hi-res, it would kill the competition except for those people who whine about the device needing to be thin. I wouild buy it in a heartbeat, or as soon as I get the money.

It would have to be a DREAM visor,

1. its not a treo: Handspring only makes treo's

2. I would cost $4,000.44 american.

3. And after the dream you bed is wet only in one spot.
