Yeah, my visor was dropped from my gym locker today. It fell to the ground and the screen cracked. I went home and sent a message to handspring tech support. They sent me a quick response and told me to call a number to get a return authorization for free. Good deal. I have had luck with Handspring's Tech support. They have been curteous and helpful.

From the seat of my truck (waist level) to the hard asphalt. The visor was protected by one of the Visor leather cases. There was no damage to the leather, to the Visor, nor to the asphalt. My heart did, however, skip a beat. This was this visor's second flight, it has also fallen from my office desk to a carpeted floor, without its case and made the trip without a scratch.

Wow! The Handspring tech support is better than most have told me. They're shipping a new visor solo for me within 10 days!

Try from the top of basketball bleachers. Luckly for me it was in the TI Slider case, and didn't suffer any bruises at all. Hopefully me luck will keep up while this is not its first flight.

It has a crack going all the way across the screen. The unit still powers up, and responds to the buttons, but thats it. Anyone know how much to get a new screen?

You might want to call customer support. You'll get quicker response than email. If their policy does not change, you should get a replacement in the mail in a couple of days.
