Question

I have a brand-new IVD, and I am quite happy with it. Just one thing: I really miss the flip cover I had on my old Palm IIIx. I don't want to carry around my case all the time. Any Ideas or inventions?

It seems rather disconcerting that the page has no secure encryption for your cc information. hmm?

Another place would be www.ebcases.com. Their flip case looks really nice, although I opted for the RhinoSkin Shocksuit case. I've heard a few good things about the eb flip case but I felt I needed more protection than this one offered.

Question

Tyler:

The Visionary 2000 Website seems to say that their screen cover can only be mounted on the left side of your PDA. This is fine for Palm Pilot users, but for people with Visors, it creates problems since the IR Port is located on the left side.

Unhappy

I wrote an email to the guy who sells the clear flip cover and asked if his invention will work with my Visor. This was his reply:

> Nope. Older >1000/5000/Personal/Professional/III models >only.

Is anything similar planned? After all, it would take only minor modifications...

>No, sorry. I'm switching to only software >sales.

Any other ideas? The clear flip cover was actually exactly what I was looking for ;-(

Yep, the left side thing would be an issue. Didn't think about that. Here is a link to how I found the case, and is a good case resource. (Take some of the "Visor capatible" notations with a grain of salt apparently, for this flip cover was listed as compatible.) http://www.fredlet.com/palm/cases/casesfr.htm

Lightbulb

I don't see why the visionary 2000 cover wouldn't work with the Visor. The cover is nothing more than a piece of vinyl for a hinge and a piece of lexan plastic to cover the screen. You could just cut out a notch of the vinyl where the IR port is.

Question

I've had a flip case ordered from ebcases for about 3 weeks now, but the tracker says it's still on backorder. Has anyone else gotten a case from them yet?
