Question Micro Innovations Foldaway KB

For starters: I have a Prism with a VisorPhone that is always in the springboard slot and, beam is "off." I purchased this keyboard, installed the drivers and, it doesn't work. I've made sure that the keyboard is "on" through the application software. I've tried it with the phone inserted in the springboard and removed. I've reinstalled the KB drivers. I've connected the Prism to the KB with the Prism turned off, then turned on both the Prism and the KB application. Nothing works. The "manual" is a joke - and the website is just as bad as far as troubleshooting (there is none). I do not want or need a StowAway, by the way. Just something small and simple. This seemed to be a nice fit for my needs - but it won't work. Any suggestions on what I might try? Thanks, Lynne

beam on or off

Thanks for the suggestion - but he KB still doesn't work, beam on or beam off - I will probably return it and not waste anymore time trying to make it work. Lynne

Is this the clamshell-style keyboard with a sliding plastic lock on the side? If so, I tried it for the Clie and was pretty unhappy with it.

Considering how cheap you can get GoTypes and Stowaways now, or used thumbboards, I would just go with one of them (especially the Stowaway!)

This had a hard plastic clamshell case with a clasp that was difficult to work. I took it back yesterday and got a refund.
