Hi there. I recently got an iBook, and I wanted to know if it is possible to use my Visorphone as a modem. Is there a data cable available for the Visorphone? What about the proper drivers? And is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to do this in the first place?
I definitely want to be able to get on line with the iBook, but the last thing I want to have to do is buy a new cell phone just so I can do it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to e-mail Purple Data Cables (http://www.pcables.com/cat1.html)...they offer modem cables such as what you are asking for, but it looks like they may be serial, which an ibook would not have. E-mail them, see if they are making another cable...

Thanks for the info. Anyway, it occured to me after my initial post that in the case of the Visorphone, the hotsync cradle or cable is a data cable.
The big question, then, is what software is needed on the iMac and/or on the Visor.
Again, any help will be appreciated, and I will post any information that I come across.
