Question

Hello,
I have read a few posts on this board about how the stylus, that ships with the Visor, can cause scatches on the screen (due to a defect on the tip of the stylus). I was wondering if Handspring has fixed this with newer shipments of Visors?

Thanks!

No they havent, do you think they would have time for that? No, with all the shipping problems there is no way they could fix anything. I believe although there will be a new model of Visor's the first or second quarter of 2000. Then we will all have to go through all this again....I am sure though they will have the shipping problems fixed by then.

Cool

One can always hope...

Have you found a good replacement stylus for the one that ships with the Visor? I am not all that interested in a multi-functional stylus... but I will take suggestions. I definitely want one that fits in the Visor silo.

Thanks.

The stock stylus is very hard. The premium stylus tip has a much softer feel. Actually, I had a difficult time getting used to the premium tip, as I had to push a lot harder than with the stock one. I've really scored my WriteRITE protectors with the "good" stylus. You could barely see where I wrote with the stock stylus. What is the difference between the two when it comes to screen wear? I couldn't tell you. I never write directly on the screen. Mine is ALWAYS protected!
