It looks like Panasonics law says that memory space will double in SD cards every year - HA!

SD like what only has 128 at a max? And how much would a 4 gig card cost . 4000??!?!?! seriously.. that's ridiculous. At that size you really need to go optical or magnetic

I truly can see High storage memory cards being cheap. I could see Sony selling MemorySticks with movies on them. Think about it. Insead of DVDs you'd have MS (or MMC/SD or Compact flash) Video player with a caddy that holds 4 or 500 of them, and only be as large as a standard VCR/DVD player of today.

Don't be surprised if this comes to pass within 3 to 5 years.
