I'm using my VDX on my Mac and I want it to synchronize addresses and email to my visor, but when ever i check "palm sync" in the outlook menu, nothing happens. I've also checked the conduits and no new ones are added...i've used the PC version before,a nd there was a mail setup program that could be used. Is there a mac equvialent that i don't have or is there a third party plugin anywhere?

Thanks! Leo

Look around in your OE folders for a PalmSync folder. There should be an installer in there that you run. It only syncs the AddressBook (and closes OE when you HotSync).

I believe there are some Palm email programs like Multimail that sync with a Mac.

Here are some more details from an earlier post on synching the Address Book with OE:

----
Find the Palm Sync folder on your Hard Drive (mine was at HD/Internet/Internet Applications/Outlook Express 5.02/Outlook Express 5.02 Folder/Extras/Palm Sync). Hopefully you'll see an "About Palm Sync Installer" document there that will guide you through the process.
----

I'm also using MultiMail Pro III to synch selected folders over to my VDx for quick reference. I'm not sure what the status of the program is now that Palm has taken it over. I had to do some tweaking to one of the AppleScripts that it uses to get the version I have working correctly so consider yourself warned!
