crud

I left my prism at work, so I took out my backup...a reconditioned edge from compusa. It worked yesterday. I left it on the kitchen counter last night and this morning i turned it on and got fatal error message. So I reset it and now the digitizer doesn't work. The memo key and the other three buttons work, but tapping on the screen does nothing except bring up the menu of on of the four button apps. I have had it charging for about 6 hours now and it still hasn't reached a full charge. I tested it while connected to the charger. I don't get a fatal error, but the digitizer is not registering again. Any suggestions? I am bummed. I was counting on this to be my backup.

okay, much less crud!

I took the back off of the edge and played with the connections. I took the battery out and just manipulated the wire connections. I placed it back in the charger and viola! it works. So far so good. I got the idea from reading old posts and checking out gethightech.com
